Bread Box in the bathroom!

I purchased this Bread Box at DI for a whopping $2! YEAH! And although I don't need a bread box I figured I would find a use for it at that price!

I took the hinges off, and the glass out. I used a razor blade to scrape the words off the glass.

Here it is all sprayed (looks a little bright, oops! Over exposed the pic a bit!)

I sanded it all down, then put the hinges back on. Next time I go to Hobby Lobby I will get a new knob!

I decided to put it in my kids bathroom to house the extra towels and washcloths! Easy to reach, and don't get mixed up with the bath towels! YAY!

Here it is in its new home! LOVE it! I want to put one in my bathroom now for my hairspray and stuff!

{Amanda} Mirror project!

I scored this ugly mirror at a thrift store, taped it off, spray painted it blue ( and added some metallic paint to make it look teal, plus I wanted it to have a bit of a sheen to it.

Here it is! $9 total for this project!!! ;) Plus, I got the white chest of drawers for $10 at a thrift store, it just needs new knobs, and it will be perfect! SCORE!

{Amanda} Jewelry Box Makeover!

 Sooooo I found this ugly, dusty, old jewelry box at the DI......

 I used masking tape to tape every thing off I didn't want painted, including the hardware, then I took it outside and spray painted it! I used a sandpaper block to sand the crap out of it and make it look old, and put the glass back in.

Here it is on my dresser! LOVE!
